Redispersible powder (VAE) CAS NO.24937-78-8

“TENESSY”Redispersible  powder  (VAE)  is a special powder emulsion made after spray drying. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, and polyvinyl alcohol has been used as a protective colloid. After contacting with water, the powder can be quickly dispersed into emulsion and has the same properties as the initial emulsion, that is,the film can be formed after evaporation of water. The film has high   flexibility, high weatherability and high adhesion to various substrates. In addition, latex powder with hydrophobicity can make mortar have     good waterproof property. By adding dispersible latex powder powder, the performance of mortar with cement or gypsum as base material can meet the needs of various construction buildings.

Typical Performance

It has outstanding waterproofing performance, good bonding strength,   increased elasticity of mortar and longer opening time, endowed mortar with excellent alkali resistance, improved adhesion/adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity, wear resistance and constructability, and has stronger flexibility in flexible crack-resistant mortar.
